The US popstar's revealed she got into the Sheffield rockers when her Dad used to play their music on vinyl while she was growing up in New Jersey.
Gaga reckons her new album will feature "Def Leppard style melodies".
She's calling it "avant-gard techno rock".
She even hired in the hair metal band's producer Mutt Lance to ensure she correctly channelled her inner Leppard.
Lance worked on track You and I.
