Coldplay Confirm Paralympics Performance
The band will perform at the Closing Ceremony on September 9....
The band have squashed rumours and speculation that they were supposed to perform at the Olympic Closing Ceremony - but admitted they will be performing at another sporting event.
Taking to Twitter the band said:
"For those asking, Coldplay were never due to play the Olympics Closing Ceremony. They play the Paralympics Closing Ceremony on 9 Sept."
So there you have it.
Frontman Chris Martin recently revealed that he road tests the group's new songs on his children.
He plays Apple, 8, and Moses, 6, new material around the breakfast table apparently.
