Chris Martin Lays Into Pap

added 18 January 2008 at 14.30

Coldplay singer Chris Martin was videotaped lashing out at a photographer taking snaps of Gwyneth Paltrow leaving hospital in New York.

Martin had accompanied his actress wife to a medical centre earlier this week, prompting rumours that Paltrow was pregnant again.

Photographers were snapping and filming the actress as she left the hospital and made her way to her car.

Martin, following behind, took umbrage with one of the paps and, er, snapped. Grabbing the hapless photographer with just one hand - the other seemed to be carrying shopping - Martin pushed him to the floor demanding that he "show some respect" before making off with a camera.

No namby-pamby him, oh no. Paps see what you're taking on below. You have been warned.

Coldplay's fourth album, 'Prospekt', is anticipated in May on EMI/Parlophone, unless they go on strike or decide to record an album of fighting songs instead.
