Black Kids: An Apology

added 28 March 2008 at 20.50

Xfm would like to clarify that Black Kids' comments in a previous news story that they were unhappy with the progress of their debut album were 100% tongue in cheek and we would like to apologise for any offence caused by this article.

The recently published story based on an interview with up and coming Floridians Black Kids may have given the impression that the band were genuinely unhappy with the progress of the record thus far and that their relationship with their producer wasn't in the rudest of health.

We are happy to clarify that this, in fact, isn’t the case as the band were merely being ironic and joking, something which may have been lost in translation from audio to text.

We therefore apologise to both the band and their producer for any upset caused.

As Xfm listeners know Black Kids new single 'I Won't Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance' - is currently being enjoyed on our airwaves with a release date of April 7.
