The Black Crowes Return With Album And London Date

added 25 February 2008 at 12.44

Southern-fried rockers The Black Crowes are set to return with their first album in seven years as well as announcing details of a UK gig. No slouches this lot, then...

The somewhat belated follow-up to 2001's 'Lions' is the equally wordy 'Warpaint' and is released next Monday (March 3).

Recorded in Allaire Studios in Woodstock, NY, the album features eleven tracks and the tracklisting is:

'Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution'
'Walk Believer Walk'
'Oh Josephine'
'Evergreen'
'We Who See The Deep'
'Locust Street'
'Movin' On Down The Line'
'Wounded Bird'
'God's Got It'
'There's Gold In Them Hills'
'Whoa Mule'

The Black Crowes have also announced details of a one-off UK gig. They play London's Brixton Academy on April 9.

Tickets are on sale now from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop here.
