It is being blamed on an "unavoidable scheduling conflict"...

The band will still play their show at Camden Roundhouse on May 20 but are moving the Nottingham Rock City show from May 14 to May 19.

The rest of the date have been rescheduled for August/September, apart from the Liverpool show which has been completely cancelled (however tickets the the Liverpool show will be valid for the Manchester one).

The band have apologised and promised "the best shows we have in us when we are there".

Taking Back Sunday will still be playing Reading and Leeds festivals.

The new dates and venues are:

May

19 - Nottingham Rock City

20 - London Roundhouse

August

23 - Glasgow O2 ABC

24 - Manchester Academy

26 - Leeds Festival Main stage

28 - Reading Festival Main stage

29 - Bath Pavilion

30 - Norwich Waterfront / UEA

September

01 - Birmingham HMV Institute

02 - Southampton Guildhall

Tickets for the delayed shows will still be valid for the new dates.
