Taking Back Sunday Announce UK Tour

added 08 March 2011 at 12.05

It's the first time the original line-up will have played here....

John Nolan and Shaun Cooper left the group following the release of 2002's debut 'Tell All Your Friends' to form Straylight Run.

Following the subsequent departure of their replacements the pair have returned to record the follow up to 2009's 'New Again'.

The so far untitled release is being produced by rock-producer-supremo Eric Valentine (QOTSA, Lostprophets) who was previously on knob-twiddling duties doe 2006's 'Louder Now'.

The band are gonna play 12 dates in the UK this May before heading on the road in the US.

The UK dates are:

12 - Southampton, Guildhall

13 - Manchester, Academy 1

14 - Nottingham, Rock City

16 - Glasgow, Barrowlands

17 - Liverpool, O2 Academy

18 - Bath, Pavilion

20 - London, Roundhouse

Tickets go on sale Friday (March 11) at 9am and will be available via the Xfm Ticket Shop.
