Sir Paul McCartney To Work With Gorillaz?

added 15 June 2011 at 17.19

The music legend has hinted that there might be some sort of collaboration...

Damon Albarn's already worked with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Lou Reed and Bobby Womack for tracks with his cartoon collective.

The former Beatle - who's promoting the re-release of his two solo albums 'McCartney' and 'McCartney II' at the moment - says he's talked to the former Blur frontman about doing something together.

Speaking to The Quietus he said discussions aren't very far along though.

"We have kind of talked. Nothing serious, but I like what they do. I have run into Damon at things and we have talked. It's got near a couple of times but we never had the time, I suppose..."
