The Purple One will perform alongside Morrissey and The Eagles...

The third headliner for this year's Hop Farm festival has been announced... and it's none other than Prince.

The Purple legend will play his only UK show this year on Sunday July 3 as an extra day is added to the festival which takes place in Paddock Wood, Kent.

It's Mr Prince's first British show since his record-breaking residency at London's O2 in 2007.

The Eagles, Brandon Flowers and Death Cab For Cutie play on Friday July 1, while Morrissey, Iggy And The Stooges and Lou Reed play Saturday 2nd.
