Pink Floyd Reissues Announced

They are going to come out all shiny and new-like (i.e. remastered)...
The major Pink Floyd release campaign, code-named 'Why Pink Floyd?...' (well not codenamed per se, but that is what it's being called by EMI)
From September 26 the band's 14 studio albums will be re-released individually and as a box-set.
CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, SACD, an array of digital formats, viral marketing, iPhone Apps and a brand-new single-album ‘Best Of’ collection are all going to come out according to a precise schedule sent to Xfm.co.uk today.
The multi-disc sets will also feature alternate takes, unreleased tracks, restored live concert screen films and a live recording of the legendary 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' performance at Wembley in 1974.
It's like memorabilia overload - but in a good way.
