Nirvana Set For Christmas Number One?
Bookies put Smells Like Teen Spirit in second place…
Bookmakers have put Nirvana's classic Smells Like Teen Spirit as second favourite to be this year's Christmas No. 1.
Ladbrokes are already claiming that X-Factor personage Amelia Lily is the favourite at 7/2, but the classic 1991 single by the Seattle legends is close behind at 4/1. 2011, of course, marked the 20th anniversary of the Nevermind album.
Also on the list are a whole list of Simon Cowell-based acts that we're not really sure of, plus Amy Winehouse at 12/1, Rage Against The Machine at 25/1 (haven't we been here before?), teen sensation Justin Bieber (25/1), Adele (33/1) and, oddly, The Beatles at 100/1.
