Mumford and Sons To Base New Album on Crowd Reaction

They've told Xfm they will work out which tracks make the cut by playing them live...

Mumford and Sons have told Xfm the band are debuting new material on their current tour.

Ted from the band told Xfm's Eoghan McDermott that they "really love the idea of involving our audiences in some way".

He continued, "that's how we did 'Sigh no More'. We did it live, the songs were played in front of crowds, they evolved in front of an audience. We're quite intent on doing that again fro the second album. It feels like a logical way to work out what you want to record."

He was talking to Eoghan live from Dublin for St Patrick's Day yesterday and told him that they are even closer to completing the follow up to the multi-award winning, accolade garnering behemoth of a debut 'Sigh No More',

"We were in Nashville, just before we did the Grammys and the Brits, just holed up in a farm house for seven days just writing. Just the four of us and it was the most incredibly fruitful time."
