How Come You Never Go There is the first track off of her next album Metals....
It is four years since her Grammy nominated breakthrough album The Reminder.
The follow up Metals is out October 3 and was recorded in Big Sur in California and co-produced by Chilly Gonzales, Mocky and Valgeir Sigurðsson (Bjork, Bonnie "Prince" Billy).
The singer has been teasing fans ahead the album's release with a series of vignettes - enigmatic videos featuring swaying trees, obscure footage and countryside scenes - released on her official website.
