Lovefoxx has also been telling Xfm's Steve Harris after how London inspired her to be crafty....

The first single off of the new album is entitled Hit Me Like a Rock and features Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie.

Speaking to Steve on the O2 Evening Show lead singer Lovefoxx explained how the collaboration came about.

"We were doing the demo for it and I could almost hear his voice in it," she said. "We have known Primal Scream for quite a long time now so I wrote him an email asking if he would like to sing on it and he said yes."

It has been three years since the release of the band's last album Donkey. Follow up La Liberacion is due out August 29.

Lovefoxx told Steve that after a lot of time off they decided to spend a decent amount of time on it.

"We spent the whole of last year writing and recording, we did a lot, we finished 24 songs and we chose 11 for the record."

So what does the lead singer of a Brazilian New Rave rock band do in her spare time?

Move to London and start doing courses of course!

"I'm really good with doing doing moulding and drawing so I've always wanted to do pottery then I found a teacher in Hackney," she revealed.

"Oh and I was also doing cooking classes when I was in London - I was doing corden bleu!"
