Charlotte Hatherley Rejoins Ash!
Well, only for a special tour, at least...
Ash are to celebrate ten years since the release of their classic Free All Angels album with a special tour playing the record in its entirety. And they will be joined by former member Charlotte Hatherley, completing the line-up that recorded the album.
Chazza - as we like to call her - left the Ashers in 2006 to go solo and has since played with Bat For Lashes and KT Tunstall. She will join the band for five shows:
October 20 Institute, Birmingham
October 21 O2 Academy, Bristol
October 22 ABC, Glasgow
October 23 HMV Ritz, Manchester
October 25 HMV Forum, London
The band will also play a greatest hits set at each show to mark the release of their Greatest Hits collection, which arrives on October 17. Tickets go on sale ay 9am on Friday 12 August - see www.xfm.co.uk/gigs for more details.
