Carl Barat to Release EP

Not long after his debut album the Libertine has been telling Xfm all about it...
The EP is due out April 4 and features new single 'Death Fires By The Night'.
His self titled debut album only came out in October last year but Carl told Xfm's Steve Harris the track didn't suit the album, saying "there wasn't a place" for the "gutteral expletive explosion."
The EP features five tracks including 'Grimaldi', new songs 'Sing for my Supper' and 'This is my Song' as well as live tracks recorded at his intimate gig at the Old Queens Head in Islington this week.
One of the tracks was written with his Libertines bandmate Peter Doherty.
The EP will be available to download from iTunes and as a limited edition vinyl pressing.
