Blur Bassist to Host Festival

Alex James is going to put it on at his Oxfordshire farm...
The four day event - called 'Alex James presents Harvest' - will take place September 9 - 12.
The celebration of music and food will feature celebrity chefs and the likes of KT Tunstall and is a sister event to the one launched by TV presenter Jimmy Doherty at his farm in Suffolk.
James said:
"We'll throw open the farm gates for Harvest this September. My family are looking forward to a celebration of all our favourite things - food, the farm and music. What more could we ask for?"
The musician and broadcaster notoriously turned his back on fame and developed a cheese-making business after the breakdown of the Britpop heroes.
Blur then reformed for a series of shows in 2009 - including that massive Glastonbury performance - and are expected to head back into the studio this year.
Lead singer Damon Albarn recently confirmed the rumours.
