Arcade Fire To Get Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef

The band will be honoured with the Hard Rock Ambassadors of Rock Award 2011...
The Canadian septet will pick up the award at a lunch on July 1.
Previous winners include Slash, Queen and Bryan Ferry.
Nordoff Robbins uses music to help transform the lives of vulnerable people and is the chosen charity of the UK music industry.
Since the awards began 36 years ago £8 million has been raised for the charity.
David Munns, Chairman of Nordoff Robbins, said that they are delighted to give Arcade Fire the award.
"Their musicianship is exceptional and their live shows phenomenal, and with their commitment to supporting various charities worldwide makes them a true example of what it means to be an 'ambassador of rock'. "
