'Plastic Beach' is to get world exclusive airing this Tuesday...

Xfm will broadcast the world exclusive full playback of the brand new album from Gorillaz next week.

'Plastic Beach' is released on Monday March 8, but will have its first full radio airplay on Xfm on Tuesday March 2 at 12pm, in an exclusive show presented by John Kennedy, joined by Gorillaz’ very own Murdoc Niccals.

Murdoc told Xfm, "Listen up, right. I've let Captain James 'John' Kennedy have my amazing new Gorillaz album 'Plastic Beach'.

"He’s going to play it out on XFM this coming Tuesday and i'll be there with him to tell him all about it. Be there or be square. Over and Out!”

The album features an exciting mix of collaborations with other artists, including first single from the album, 'Stylo', with Bobby Womack and Mos Def.  Other tracks see collaborations from Snoop Dogg, Kano, De La Soul and the National Orchestra for Arabic Music.

The Xfm Gorillaz playback takes place on Xfm on Tuesday March 2 between 12 and 2pm.
