The Stone Roses

We're devoting a weekend to Manchester's finest. Read all about it here...

All weekend on Xfm we’ll be playing The Stone Roses’ best tracks, treasured album cuts and gems from their many b-sides and EPs. With it being the 21st birthday of their groundbreaking debut this year, we thought it was about time we dusted down some of the world’s greatest indie tunes and spun them in honour of Messrs Brown, Squire, Mountfield and Wren.

If that isn’t enough, we’ve got plenty on-line too. We want to know what you’re favourite Stone Roses track – we’re even offering a copy of the re-issued first album to two lucky winners. We’ve also got two interviews with Ian Brown, a documentary and a few other bits and bobs we’ve thrown in for good measure.

It’s all gold on-line and on air! And there’s even not a fool in sight…
