Weller: "There’s No Jam Reunion"

Despite being joined by Bruce Foxton on his new album, the Modfather rules out a full Jam get-together.

Paul Weller has told Xfm this morning that there won’t be a Jam reunion. Rumours began to circulate after news broke that the Modfather would be joined by Jam bass player Bruce Foxton on his new album.

Speaking to Dave Berry on Xfm London’s Breakfast Show, Weller said

"It was a few phone calls and just making contact again. I thought it would be a nice idea and Bruce was up for it".

"There’s no reunion, it’s just Bruce coming down and playing on a few tracks. It was fun and it was nice for us both to do it".

Weller’s album, ‘Wake Up The Nation’ is released on April 12.
