We Are Scientists Announce Shoreditch Party

The band to do two charity gigs in one day...
The band are about to head to the UK for 11 dates as part of 'The American Barbarians Tour' which starts in Portsmouth on November 15.
Obviously Bassist Chris Cain is keeping things in persective: "The American Barbarians Tour is, in my estimate, going to be the sexiest, bloodiest, down-and-dirtiest carnival of ecstasy since, at the latest, Roman times -- and who can be sure those stories are even true?"
As part of the "carnival" the band are playing an event to celebrate young social entrepeneurs in music, sport and the arts on November 18 before heading to Shoreditch to play at the Mencap Little Noise Sessions.
The band have put up a competition on their Facebook page to win a pair of tickets to the event at Village Underground where people will have to explain, in Chris' words. "what you will bring to the party - vibe, clothing accessory, 'tude..."
The competition closes on Sunday November 14.
