U2 Tour Named Best Stage Show
The ambitious ‘360’ world tour scoops prestigious award.
U2’s live production has been voted the best stage show of 2009 in the Total Production International Awards. The revolutionary design, which sees the band perform in the round beneath a massive claw, was praised by the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Mark Cunningham.
"It is a massive engineering feat - from scenery to video to audio, with the biggest PA system that has ever been seen on a tour.
"It's a fantastic achievement and the four members of U2 are effectively the icing on the cake."
U2’s next British show till see the Dublin goliaths headline Glastonbury.
