Tim Burgess: "The Chavs Could Be Back!"

The Charlatans frontman is living upstairs from Carl Barat, apparently...
Tim Burgess of The Charlatans has been telling Xfm that the indie supergroup The Chavs could make a reappearance. The group, featuring Tim Burgess, Carl Barat, former Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows, Jamie Reynolds of the Klaxons and more, played a few impromptu shows between 2004 and 2007.
"It was a one-off thing, after a session in the pub," Tim told Xfm's Dave Berry. "It was very spontenous, we rehearsed for 15 minutes in a cafe. No one knew each other's songs."
However, The Chavs may be back sooner than you think. "I'm living in a flat in Hoxton at the moment," says Tim, "and Carl's in the studio downstairs. So I guess there's a chance... any time of day, really!"
