The Strokes’ Album Postponed

added 10 May 2010 at 09.56

The band’s fourth album now looks likely to be released in 2011.

Julian Casablancas has told Clash magazine that the new Strokes album is unlikely to surface in 2010. Previous reports stated the as-yet-untitled album may emerge as soon as September, but the frontman told the magazine that progress on the record is slower than expected.

"I think January”, said Casablancas, when asked when it was likely to be released. “I was told not to predict anymore. But I'm pretty sure it should be out in January."
