The Courteeners On ‘Falcon’

Liam Fray pops in to X-Posure and tells John Kennedy all about the making of ‘Falcon’. Listen to the full interview now.
The second album by nu-Manc Messiahs The Courteeners was greeted with some excitement at Xfm. ‘St Jude’ set the bar pretty high, but we were pleased to see ‘Falcon’ soar over it.
This was a more considered, ambitious and sumptuous effort and no one was happier to see The Courteeners fly than us. Naturally, when the opportunity arose to get Liam in to talk about his epic tour-de-force, we jumped at the chance.
In an amazingly insightful track-by-track, the frontman takes John Kennedy and X-Posure through the barnstorming album that’s set to make The Courteeners a household name.
