Soundgarden Not Touring UK ‘Til 2011
No Download or Sonisphere for grunge legends says Live Nation promoter.
Andy Copping, the booker behind the Download Festival, has tweeted that Soundgarden will not be touring the UK until 2011. The news follows plenty of rumours that the reformed grunge legends would be appearing on British soil this year.
“When will anyone announce Soundgarden?”, tweeted Copping. “They're not coming until 2011”.
On the other side of the pond, much speculation surrounds Soundgarden’s appearance at the Lollapalooza festival. The bash, which takes place in Chicago between August 6 and 8, is also rumoured to feature Green Day, The Strokes and Lady Gaga.
