Shakira Axes MIA Video Star

Ian Hamrick reportedly gets canned from a video after ‘Born Free’ furore.
TMZ are reporting that MIA’s ‘Born Free’ star Ian Hamrick has been axed from Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka’ video, also the official song of the 2010 World Cup. The entertainment website goes on to state that Hamrick had had several of his scenes cut following his ‘execution’ in MIA’s controversial promo.
A spokesman for Shakira’s production company refuted the allegations, saying that Hamrick didn’t have a starring role and that "no extra is featured over another."
