Rage Against The Machine Announce Free Gig

Details will be announced this week, says Download promoter.
Andy Copping, head honcho of the Download festival, has revealed that news of Rage Against The Machine’s free gig will be announced this week. Andy Copping’s involvement with the free gig has intensified speculation that the band are also headed for the Download festival.
“There should be news regarding the free Rage Against The Machine gig late next week”, Tweeted the promoter.
That Copping will reveal the gig’s details has added credence to the rumour that Rage Against The Machine will headline one of the days at Download.
With AC/DC either playing the Friday or Saturday night at Download and the traditional ‘classic’ headliner expected on Sunday, Rage Against The Machine’s free gig – provided they were to headline Download’s Friday or Saturday – would leave Saturday (June 12) or Sunday (June 13) open for the free show.
