Queens Of The Stone Age To Record New Album

The band will be back in the studio in January...
Queens Of The Stone Age have revealed the band are going to start recording a new album in January.
Keyboardist Dean Fertita has told Billboard.com the US band are "ready to go" on what will be the follow-up to 2007's 'Era lgaris':
"We've got so many ideas started already; I guess we'll see what turns out to be everybody's favorite. It's very much still (Josh Homme's) band, but I think all of us really feel like we've found our space in it and can contribute to it as well."
Fertita has been busy in recent years with his solo effort Hello=Fire and The Dead Weather.
He also told the website that the supergroup - which also involves Jack White, Alison Mosshart and Jack Lawrence - could do something more in future:
"Everything seems to happen by accident with that band, so who knows -- maybe we'll have a record together in another two weeks. I think we all love the way it works, so I don't see any reason why we wouldn't try to keep it going at some point."
