White Lies – 'To Lose My Life'

Dark rock trio who combine Killers pop hooks with Editors theatrics to great effect...
Originally known as Fear Of Flying, White Lies hail from Ealing in West London and changed their name and moved to a darker, more 80s-influnced sound back in late 2007. Their first single was the doomy 'Unfinished Business' in April 2008, but it was the second release 'Death' in September that put them on the map.
Following an appearance at Xfm's Winter Wonderland in December 2008, their debut album 'To Lose My Life' was released on Fiction the following month and the band spent most of the year touring, including festival appearances at Glastonbury, Coachella, Reading and Leeds and Roskilde.
More touring and some new material is expected in 2010.
