Kill It Kid – 'Kill It Kid'

Arcade Fire-inspired blues/folk/rock experiment from Bath...
A five-piece collective from Bath, Kill It Kid features Chris Turpin (guitar/vocals), Stephanie Ward (piano, vocals), Adam Timmins (bass), Richard Jones (violin) and Marc Jones (drums).
The band were put together in February 2008 by PJ Harvey producer John Parish, who was challenged by a tutor at Bath Spa University to create a studio-based group as part of a media course. The results were so successful, Kill It Kid were quickly signed to One Little Indian, and their debut album was recorded in Seattle with Gossip producer Ryan Hadlock. The eponymous record was released in October 2009.
