Band of Skulls – 'Baby Darling Doll Face Honey'

Grungy rockers making headway in the US...
Formed in 2008 in Southampton, Band Of Skulls features vocals and guitar from Russell Marsden, bass from Emma Richardson and drums from Matt Hawyward. Peddling swampy rock and roll, their debut single 'I Know What I Am' was given a useful leg-up via a free Single Of The Week download on iTunes. Their debut album 'Baby Darling Doll Face Honey" was released on You Are Here in March 2009 and was recorded at Radiohead's old studio in Oxfordshire.
The band played the Lollapalooza festival last year and were chuffed to hear that their track 'Friends' was to be included on the soundtrack to the mega-hit movie 'Twilight: New Moon', alongside the illustrious likes of Muse, Editors and The Killers.
