Mystery Jets To Write Next Album on Tour
The band were speaking to Xfm backstage at Winter Wonderland...
"I think our plan really is to write our next album on the road, whenever we've got little windows of time running away to our various little dens and writting songs," singer Blaine told Xfm, "we want to avoid the whole thing of taking a year off - I think that can be quite destructive when you're on a flow and we're on a flow now."
It's been a busy 2010 for the band who as well as playing the Manchester leg of Xfm's Winter Wonderland with Cuervo Tequila - played the mainstage at Reading & Leeds as well as performing at Somerset House and their biggest hometown gig yet - Camden Roundhouse.
They'll start 2011 Down Under - with trips to Australia and New Zealand as soon as Christmas is over.
