MGMT: "Don't Do Meow Meow"

The duo claim that the now-illegal drug is "bad for you"...
In topical news, psych-freak-electro-pop duo MGMT have been talking about mephedrone aka "meow meow". The drug became illegal with a class B status today (April 16), allowing prison sentences for possession or dealing. However, Andrew VanWyngarden claims it's not an expeirence he'd like to try,
"It doesn't sound like something I'd want to do," he told The Shortlist. "They're going to come out with something to show it's really bad for you physically, and people will stop doing it."
When challenged by his bandmate Ben Goldwasser that reports of negative side effects didn't stop people taking ecstasy, Andrew claimed: "But ecstasy isn't really bad for you."
