MGMT Announce Details Of New Album

Tracklist and release date announced for the Sonic Boom-helmed album.
MGMT have announced details of their eagerly awaited second album. Spin have reported that the album, titled ‘Congratulations’, was produced by Spacemen 3’s Sonic Boom (AKA Peter Kember). Flaming Lips and Mercury Rev knob twiddler Dave Fridmann mixed the album.
The album is set for release on April 12 in the UK and features nine tracks:

'Song for Dan Treacy'
'Someone's Missing'
'Flash Delirium'
I Found a Whistle'
'Siberian Breaks'
'Brian Eno'
'Lady Dada's Nightmare'
'Congratulations'
"It's definitely going to shock people," said frontman Andrew VanWyngarden to Spin. "We dropped any sort of irony that was on the first record, and Congratulations feels true to who we really are."
