Linkin Park Sue Over Bizarre Toy-Making Accident

added 15 March 2010 at 11.51

Chester Bennington builds toy, does himself a mischief and calls lawyers.

Honestly, you couldn’t make this up (and before anyone starts kicking off about Kings Of Leon again, this is a genuine news story). Website TMZ are reporting that Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington are suing his insurers after they refused to pay up following a bizarre toy-making accident.

Chester, ever the doting father, was building a toy for his son when he somehow threw his back out. The toy-making injury led to the cancellation of six concerts (what the hell was he building? Please don’t say it was from a Kinder Egg…), which his band’s insurers – Lloyds of London – refused to pay up for, stating his condition was pre-existing.

Bennington has now turned his band’s lawyers on the insurers to try and get some of the money back.

Please, please, please if you’ve ever done yourself a mischief tinkering with toys, can you let us know below?
