James Murphy talks John Kennedy and X-posure through his latest album.
Heard ‘Drunk Girls’? Brilliant isn’t it? It has all the hallmarks of an LCD Soundsystem classic. Its parent album, ‘This Is Happening’ is no different. The third record from James Murphy – and is it his last? – is a stone cold belter.
Naturally, when he was in Xfm Towers’ vicinity, he stopped by to talk to John Kennedy and X-posure about the album’s making. Ever the talker, James went in to great detail about the songs and the white-wearing commune that sprung up around the studio.
Needless to say, it was quite the interview.
