Kings And Green Day Scoop Grammys

The Followills and Billy Joe Armstrong’s mob pick up gongs at last night's glittering ceremony.
Kings Of Leon and Green Day walked away with a Grammy each at last night’s glittering awards ceremony in Los Angeles. The Followills bagged Record Of The Year for ‘Use Somebody’ while Green Day scored Best Rock Album for ‘21st Century Breakdown’.
In other Grammy news, Brendan O’Brien, producer of records by Pearl Jam, AC/DC and Mastodon, nabbed the award for Producer Of The Year. The Ting Tings, Silversun Pickups and MGMT all wore disappointed faces as country music band Zac Brown Band stole the award for Best New Band.
