Kelly Jones “Looking Forward” To Ending Record Deal

The Stereophonics frontman embraces the possibilities of a contract-less future.
In an exclusive interview with Xfm, Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones has told Dave Berry that the band’s seventh album, ‘Keep Calm And Carry On’, is the final record under their current deal.
Stereophonics were the first band to be signed to Richard Branson’s new V2 label in 1996, transferring to Universal when the label was bought for their sixth album, ‘Pull The Pin’.
“This is the last record on our contract”, said Kelly about ‘Keep Calm And Carry On’. “We signed for two, that went to five and then to seven…We made it!”
Embracing the future, he said,
“I’m actually quite looking forward to people batting it about!”.
