Johnny Cash Memorabilia Going to Auction
Instruments, hand-written lyrics and stage outfits are all going on sale...
More than 1000 items are going under the hammer and are expected to raise more than half a million dollars.
The auction - at Julien's Auctions in California - takes place on December 5.
It includes items from Cash's military career all the way through to the end of his career.
A vintage 1951 Martin guitar used by Cash in studio that later became the designated tour bus guitar is expected to go for between $20,000 - 30,000.
A portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit MusiCares.
