Jim Morrison Posthumously Pardoned by Florida

He was convicted for indecent exposure and profanity in 1969....
The Doors frontman was appealing against the conviction when he was found dead in a bathtub in Paris two years later.
He was convicted of exposing himself during a concer in Miami's Dinner Key Auditorium 41 years ago.
His bandmates insist that he teased the crowd but didn't actually show his penis - fan debates swing between the two accounts.
Florida's Clemency Board has posthumously pardoned the singer at the request of outgoing Governor Charlie Crist - who afterwards called the conviction a "blot" on the record of an accomplished artist for "something he may or may not have done".
In an interview before the vote Ray Manzarek, The Doors' keyboard player, said "it never actually happened. It was mass hypnosis".
But board members said that because they can't retry the case Morrison is forgiven rather than having the verdict overturned.
