Grandaddy Frontman Confirms Solo Show

Jason Lythe denies his songwriting style is "hippy dippy" ahead of UK gig
Former Grandaddy frontman Jason Lytle is coming to the UK and playing a one off solo show in London.
Lytle left the Californian band after almost 15 years – blaming the pressures of touring and not being cut out for the lifestyle. He then moved to Montana to escape.
But it seems like he couldn’t stay away from the limelight. His debut solo album ‘Yours Truly, The Commuter’ came out last year. “The title of the album comes from where I’ll go into the studio for a few days, and when I come back out, it’s not always easy to transition back to this world,” he explains. “There’s really this state of meditation that I hit, not in a hippy dippy way, but something that I don’t want to lose.”
And going solo is not his only return to the world of music. He also has side project Admiral Radley on the go with Aaron Burtch of Grandaddy and members of Earlimart. Their first release entitled "I Heart California" was released in July this year.
He is supporting Midlake on their UK tour before playing a one off solo show at the Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen on November 8
