Jane’s Addiction To Record New Album

The groundbreaking alt.rockers have reportedly begun recording their first album in seven years.
Jane’s Addiction have begun recording their fourth studio album, according to a Facebook entry by lead singer Perry Farrell.
This will be the first time the original line-up have recorded an album together since the sessions for 1990’s ‘Ritual De Lo Habitual’ (2003’s ‘Strays’ was recorded with new bass player Chris Chaney).
The reunited band have already scrapped a recording session from last year. At the time, Perry Farrell told The Pulse Of Radio,
"We started to record and things got kind of ugly. You know, it's one of those things where the headbutting really came out when we tried to write… But you know what? I'm very patient, because it's only been, what, 18 years, so I can't expect things overnight to be perfect."
However, fresh doubt has been cast over original bass player Eric Avery’s future with Jane’s Addiction. Blabbermouth have noted that Avery has already missed a New Year’s Eve show and is absent from a recent group photo.
