James McAvoy For Kurt Cobain Role?
R Patz gets binned for ‘Atonement’ star.
Courtney Love has let slip that 'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson is out of the running to play Kurt Cobain in the upcoming biopic. The film, which sees Love assume the role of producer, is now favouring ‘Atonement’/’Last King Of Scotland’/’Narnia’ star James McAvoy. ‘The Notebook’ and ‘Half Nelson’ star Ryan Gosling is also thought to be in the frame.
Courtney Love, on American TV show ‘The View’, was overcome when they showed her a picture of McAvoy:
"Look at him. It's like Edward Norton and Kurt had a baby!", she said.
