Jack White Rails At "Hip Motherf**kers"
The Dead Weather man berates New York audience...
Jack White slated a New York audience for being "hip motherfuckers" last week, for not rocking out enough. The singer and guitarist was performing with The Dead Weather at uber-cool NYC club Don Hill's on Wednesday (August 4), when he blew up at the unresponsive crowd.
According to the New York Daily News, the star yelled, "Fuck you, you hip motherfuckers! Why don't you rock the fuck out?! Maybe I should go grab those free drinks and shove them down your throats, you hip motherfuckers!"
The audience included the likes of Liv Tyler, Alexa Chung and Sean Lennon. The bollocking must have worked, as White apologised to the crowd at the end of the show. "I'm sorry I blew up at you guys earlier," he said.
