The band will play for Mencap next month...

Hurts will perform as part of this year's Little Noise Sessions in aid of Mencap. The week-long acoustic festival at the Union Chapel in Islington, London kicks off on November 15 and the Manchester duo are to perform on the 17th.

Also performing this year will be Tom Jones and Paolo Nutini, with more acts to be announced in the coming weeks.

The series of shows mark their fifth anniversary this year and previous events have seen performances from The Killers, Biffy Clyro, Noel Gallagher, Kasabian and Florence And The Machine.
