The singer told the audience "we may never get to do this again" on the last date on the band's world tour in New Zealand.
The tour has featured an incredible line-up including Bobby Womack, De La Soul and Daley.
Gorillaz are due to release their new album 'The Fall' as a free download on Christmas Day.
The album notoriously was created on Damon's iPad while the band were touring.
It will go up on December 25th as part of the band's online advent calendar.
