Flaming Lips Recruit Justin Timberlake?
Wayne Coyne is hard at work on another film and wants the ‘Sexy Back’ singer to star.
Following their lo-fi epic ‘Christmas At Mars’, The Flaming Lips have begun work on a new film. Details remain sketchy, but head Lip Wayne Coyne is reportedly about to begin filming in a local slaughterhouse.
Wayne Coyne did let slip that he’s eyeing up some A-list celebrities for roles in the new film.
“I’m gonna try to get real actors,” he told Rolling Stone. “I’m in the process of begging Justin Timberlake to be part of it; if I’m lucky I’ll be able to wear him down in another year.”
The Flaming Lips have also announced they’ll be releasing physical formats of their version of Pink Floyd’s ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ on April 17 (vinyl) and May 3 (CD).
