Editors Begin Rehearsals for Album Four

Lead singer Tom says they start "in a matter of days"...

In a post on the band's website he told fans they will soon be working on the follow up to last year's 'In This Light and On This Evening':

"Another year races towards its end and Editors are a hive of activity. It won’t be long until we’re together again as a band rehearsing the first ideas for album 4. Obviously it’s a big task but we have songs now and the wheels are well and truly in motion. The idea is to record in stages over 2011 but first things must come first and we need to get into a room together and play, see where the ideas take us. These are exciting times and we’re all looking forward to taking our relationship with Mr Flood further... first rehearsals start in a matter of days."

Mark 'Flood' Ellis produced their last release and has also collaborated with Depeche Mode, Smashing Pumpkins, The Killers and 30 Seconds to Mars (to name a few).

It comes as the band announce they are releasing a 'Best Of'.

'Editors: The Complete Collection' is coming out in February next year and includes seven 12-inch vinyl records and seven CDs as well as B-sides, rarities and previously unreleased material.

Fans can pre-order copies from Thursday (December 2).
